Role Overview:

Were looking for a Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee on-ground operations across assigned regions. The role involves managing field teams, ensuring seamless coordination,optimizing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of execution and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground operations, resource planning, and asset management, with a focus on performance tracking and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Field Operations Leadership

  2. Lead and manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring adherence to operational plans and performance targets.

  3. Supervise and support field executives to maintain high-quality execution and operational discipline.
  4. Ensure smooth coordination across locations to achieve operational goals.

  5. Task & Ticket Management

  6. Monitor and resolve operational tickets within defined timelines, ensuring quick turnaround and issue closure.

  7. Plan, allocate, and track daily field tasks to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources.
  8. Develop efficient workflows to enhance service delivery and minimize operational disruptions.

  9. Ground Coordination & Resource Deployment

  10. Coordinate on-ground activities including movement of batteries, assets, and field logistics.

  11. Ensure timely availability and allocation of resources to meet operational demands.
  12. Implement standardized processes to improve operational reliability and efficiency.

  13. Roster & Manpower Planning

  14. Prepare and manage the roster for field executives to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.

  15. Monitor attendance, performance, and shift allocations for field teams.
  16. Identify training needs and coordinate skill development for field staff.

  17. Data Management & Reporting

  18. Maintain accurate operational data related to tickets, asset movements, and field performance.

  19. Generate and analyze reports using Excel and Google Sheets to track KPIs and identify improvement areas.
  20. Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior management.

  21. Cross-functional Coordination

  22. Collaborate with logistics, business development, and central operations teams to ensure smooth execution of field operations.

  23. Escalate issues proactively and ensure alignment across departments to maintain continuity of operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline (Engineering or Management preferred).
  • Experience:4-8 years of experience in Operations Management with progressive responsibility.
  • Prior experience in ground coordination, manpower planning, and process execution is highly desirable.

Good to Have:

  • Strong operational planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (advanced level preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lead field teams effectively and work cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail and a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
