Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding heavy machinery components and a solid understanding of fabrication processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and durability of our custom machinery through precise welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding: Perform TIG welding on heavy machinery components, including structural and fabricated parts, according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and positioning components as required.
  • Inspection: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to execute precise welds.
  • Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Safety: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a heavy machinery or fabrication setting.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in TIG welding techniques, with a strong understanding of welding materials and processes.
  • Certifications: Relevant welding certifications and training, such as AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent, are preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
  • Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
