Position Overview

The CAD Technician will play a critical role in supporting the design and engineering teams by creating detailed technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
• Modify and revise existing drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Attend project meetings to discuss design progress and address any technical challenges.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and client specifications.
• Conduct regular checks and reviews to maintain accuracy and consistency in designs.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD software and tools to enhance productivity and design quality.
• Troubleshoot software issues and recommend upgrades or improvements.

• Diploma or certification in CAD drafting, engineering design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar tools.

Preferred:

• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, engineering standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
