Job Summary:

Fabric is seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer with AWS expertise to manage Linux systems, AWS core services, and infrastructure automation. The role involves implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring solutions, and container orchestration to support the company's software development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage core Linux operations including file system navigation, file permissions, user/groups, cron jobs, and system resource monitoring
  • Provision and manage AWS core services including VPCs, EC2, S3, IAM roles/users, and RDS
  • Design and configure VPC components including subnets, route tables, internet/NAT gateways, security groups
  • Launch, connect, and monitor EC2 instances using key pairs, SSH, EC2 Connect, and SSM
  • Create and manage S3 buckets with versioning, lifecycle policies, encryption, and access control
  • Manage IAM users, groups, and basic policies, implement security practices using CloudTrail and Config
  • Use GitHub/CodeCommit for code versioning and implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Set up CloudWatch alarms and logs to track performance metrics and identify issues
  • Create Lambda functions triggered by S3 events with correct IAM roles
  • Build and run Docker containers, understand Kubernetes concepts
  • Configure AWS Budgets and alerts, analyze spend with Cost Explorer, document work clearly
