Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud environments, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and support CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for access management, automation, monitoring setup, deployment scripting, and ensuring security compliance across multiple cloud platforms. This role involves close collaboration with developers, operations, and security teams to maintain a stable and efficient cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Access Management & Governance

• Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for new joiners in cloud environments.
• Conduct monthly access reviews and manage production access with developers for troubleshooting.
• Maintain access control documents and deliver updated ACC documentation.

Cloud Architecture & Environment Setup

• Support cloud environment introductions and documentation.
• Maintain as-is architecture designs for cloud and monitoring setups.
• Implement and configure cloud resources using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Assist in ADO (Azure DevOps) project introduction for both DCP and managed cloud.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning infrastructure.
• Create and manage deployment scripts for middleware, monitoring tools, and cloud resources.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for code scanning, builds, deployments, and microservices.
• Manage ACR cache configuration, cleanup scripts, and ADO ticket automation.

Monitoring & Alerting

• Deploy and configure monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana).
• Establish monitoring rules for applications, infrastructure, and service providers.
• Configure Grafana and Prometheus notification rules and maintain alerting mechanisms.
• Manage SendGrid configuration for alert notifications and system emails.

iPaaS & API Management

• Support iPaaS integration, PVT testing, and APIM API configurations.
• Manage iPaaS IaC and APIM pipelines for deployment and updates.

CICD Pipelines & Deployment Management

• Build and maintain CICD templates for K8s, frontend, microservices, and middleware.
• Manage Maven authentication, SQL CICD, Nacos, ElasticSearch, and other pipelines.
• Ensure proper deployment sequencing and release calendar adherence.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues promptly.

Maintenance & Security

• Perform AKS upgrades, middleware updates, and monitoring tool enhancements.
• Manage service principal refreshes, certificate management, and SAS token renewals.
• Address security vulnerabilities (WIZ issues) and update deprecated Microsoft services.
• Plan and execute decommission activities for outdated resources.

Database & Application Support

• Manage SQL deployments, scripts, and indexes for ElasticSearch.
• Maintain Nacos configuration and support database-related CI/CD pipelines.

Way of Working & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Support cross-team introductions and align with organizational release calendars.
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, and release processes follow best DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Cloud Operations / DevOps Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (preferred) or other major cloud providers (AWS/GCP).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure DevOps (ADO), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack, and monitoring automation.
• Working knowledge of network configuration, API Gateway, and middleware tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Understanding of security compliance, RBAC, and infrastructure governance.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Candidates with the ability to manage and deliver end-to-end project responsibilities independently will be preferred.

• Experience with SendGrid, Synapse, and iPaaS integration.

• Familiarity with SQL, ElasticSearch, Nacos, and MySQL environments.
• Exposure to cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
