Position Overview

The PC – TRF will lead strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, manage clients and partnerships, ensure rigorous data management, and oversee team development at Textile Resource Facilities (TRFs) in Bangalore and Gurugram. This role demands a balance of strategic thinking, ecosystem building, operational management, and strong client and team handling abilities, all within the dynamic and evolving sector of circular textiles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define the long-term vision and roadmap for TRFs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals with team.
• Continuously map and update a comprehensive database of textile waste management solutions and stakeholders.
• Identify emerging trends and pivot strategies to stay ahead in the circular economy landscape.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the TRF teams to ensure delivery against objectives.

2. Outreach and Business Development

• Identify and engage potential clients, brands, accelerators, and collaborators in the textile waste ecosystem.
• Develop client-specific proposals, strategies, and costings for consultancy and service offerings.
• Build and nurture strong relationships to grow project pipelines and strategic partnerships.

3. Capacity Building and Operational Support

• Design, set up, and improve textile waste aggregation, sorting, and processing units at TRFs.
• Create and oversee Go-to-Market strategies for textile waste solutions and products.
• Guide teams in efficient collection, sorting, segregation, and storage operations.
• Map waste disposal or recycling destinations, coordinate trials, and formalize partnerships through MOUs.
• Organize regular training sessions for internal teams and waste workers.
• Support the organization of circular textile promotional events such as swap shops and exhibitions.
• Support Associate Lead for any consulting projects when required
• Support Associate lead in overall development and expansion of the vertical.

4. Project Management

• Lead end-to-end management of TRF operations ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
• Maintain detailed SOPs, and implementation frameworks, compliance needs for Facility.
• Monitor client satisfaction and generate impact reports and insights.

5. Data Management and Reporting

• Build and manage robust data management systems for TRF operations and projects.
• Maintain up-to-date records of operations, CRM, Invoicing, receivables  client communications, and textile waste metrics for vertical Dashboard.
• Generate periodic reports on project KPIs, client deliverables, and sector trends.
• Develop and monitor Profit and Loss (PnL) statements per TRF and per project.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, including consultancy project reporting.

6. Product Development and Marketing Support

• Ideate and oversee product development initiatives using textile waste in partnership with SHGs and other groups.
• Assist the Circle Up team in ideation, prototyping, and testing of upcycled products.
• Guide the development of marketing collaterals, content, and promotional strategies for circular textile products.

7. Team Management

• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing TRF teams.
• Allocate tasks, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Foster a collaborative and safe work environment.
• Identify skills gaps and facilitate upskilling and capacity building within the team.
