A Business Development Manager (BDM) drives company growth by identifying new opportunities, fostering key client relationships, researching market trends, and creating strategic plans to expand revenue and market reach.

Admissions & Enrollment Growth

  • Drive student recruitment and achieve admission targets across different programs.
  • Design and implement effective admission campaigns (online and offline).
  • Monitor enrollment data and prepare reports to track progress against goals.

Marketing & Branding

  • Oversee branding, outreach, and promotional activities to enhance visibility.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns, events, and school/college fairs.
  • Develop marketing collaterals and promotional content in coordination with the academic and creative teams.

Partnerships & Networking

  • Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, corporate, and educational consultants.
  • Establish collaborations with external organizations for internships, placements, and academic tie-ups.
  • Represent the institution at conferences, expos, and education fairs.

Revenue & Business Expansion

  • Identify opportunities for new revenue streams (short-term courses, online programs, skill development workshops).
  • Propose and implement initiatives for financial sustainability and growth.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and suggest strategies to gain an edge in the market.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the admissions and business development teams.
  • Assign clear targets, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
  • Conduct regular training to improve communication, counseling, and sales skills.

Operational Excellence

  • Standardize admission and counseling processes across branches.
  • Ensure timely reporting, MIS updates, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
