The Role:
Sr Analyst
We are seeking a seasoned
Sr Analyst
with 3+ years of experience and deep domain knowledge in the
Metals Sector
to join our Analytics team in Bangalore. This is a crucial role where you will bridge industrial operations with data science, leading complex analytics projects that inform client-facing decarbonisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities And Deliverables

• Sector-Specific Analysis:

• Applying deep operational and commercial knowledge gained from experience in the metals sector (steel, aluminum, etc.) to client projects.

• Identifying key levers for emission reduction (e.g., fuel switching, material efficiency, process optimization) specific to metal production.

• Analytics Project Leadership:

• Leading the full lifecycle execution and delivery of sophisticated analytics projects, from scoping and data acquisition to final client presentation.

• Developing complex data models and hypotheses to analyze industrial energy use, material flows, and carbon emissions.

• Insight Generation and Communication:

• Translating raw operational and emissions data into clear, concise, and actionable business insights and strategic recommendations for senior client stakeholders.

• Working closely with Program Managers and data engineers to ensure data quality and model accuracy.

• Process Improvement:

• Contributing to the continuous improvement it's analytical methodologies and data pipelines related to industrial decarbonisation.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in an Analytical or Consulting role, with a strong focus on data.
• Domain Mandate: Mandatory prior experience in the metals sector is essential. Candidates without this domain knowledge will not be considered.
• Technical Acumen: Strong proficiency in data querying (SQL) and advanced data manipulation (MS Excel/Python/R).
• Mindset: Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities, capable of structuring and solving ambiguous business problems.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client engagement.
