Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Accountant located in Kerala, India. The Head Accountant will be responsible for leading and managing the accounting department. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and conducting financial analysis. Additionally, the Head Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in managing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent skills in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring tax compliance
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or relevant certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within the accounting department
