  • Monitor and inspect manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular in-process inspections at critical stages of production for switchgear and control assemblies.

  • Identify, document, and report any deviations or non-conformances; initiate corrective actions promptly.

  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues during manufacturing.

  • Implement and maintain process control plans, inspection checklists, and quality control procedures.

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for in-process defects.

  • Verify calibration and proper functioning of inspection and testing equipment used on the shop floor.

  • Liaise with design, production, and supplier quality teams to address recurring quality concerns.

  • Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects, to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of in-process inspections, test results, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: 4 years in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in electrical manufacturing, switchgear, or control panel assembly.

  • Certifications: Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality systems is preferred.
