Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect reinforcement steel (rebar) installation at site before concreting.
  • Verify bar diameter, spacing, quantity, shape, bends, laps, anchorage length, and cover as per approved shop drawings and BBS.
  • Ensure rebar materials comply with approved material submittals and mill certificates.
  • Check cleanliness of reinforcement (free from rust, oil, paint, mud, etc.).
  • Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to rectify non-conformities.
  • Raise Inspection Requests (IR) and attend inspections with consultants/clients.
  • Identify, record, and report NCRs related to reinforcement works.
  • Ensure correct placement of chairs, spacers, cover blocks, and supports.
  • Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications, ITPs, and method statements.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with relevant codes and standards (ACI, BS, ASTM, IS, etc.).
  • Support concrete pour activities by confirming rebar clearance and approvals.
  • Follow project HSE requirements during inspection activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300, ₹800,000.00 per year
