Job Title: BIM Modeler / Checker - Structural Steel (Tekla), Location: ChennaiDepartment: DesignCompany: One of the largest and most successful firms in Structural Steel, Rebar & PEB Detailing/DesignJob Summary:We are currently seeking experienced structural steel modellers to join our dynamic team at our Chennai office. The ideal candidates will have hands-on expertise in 3D modelling using Tekla software and a strong understanding of steel detailing practices. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a highly reputed organisation known for excellence in structural detailing and design.Key Responsibilities:Create accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures softwareInterpret structural and architectural drawings to develop detailed modelsEnsure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards (AISC knowledge is an added advantage)Coordinate with internal teams, including checkers and engineers, to ensure modelling accuracyParticipate in model reviews and resolve clashes or design discrepanciesMaintain project schedules and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlinesRequired Qualifications & Skills:Education: B.E. / Diploma / ITI in Civil or Mechanical EngineeringExperience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in steel structural 3D modellingSoftware Expertise: Proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory, AutoCADStandards Knowledge: Familiarity with AISC standards is an added advantageStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team and handle multiple projectsSend your CV to surendra.j@talentcorner.in orWhatsApp: +91 80884 69165 (NO CALLS)
