Job Description- Proofpoint Endpoint DLP Engineer

A Proofpoint Endpoint DLP Engineer deploys designs, implements, and manages Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and solutions on endpoints to prevent sensitive data exfiltration. This involves configuring the Proofpoint platform, creating DLP packages, deploying the packages, rules for data movement, analyzing alerts for policy violations and threats, and working with business units to ensure data protection across email, cloud, and endpoint channels.

Experience on Proofpoint Endpoint DLP is a MUST as Candidate should be aware about installation of ProoPoint DLP on Endpoints and uninstallation of Proofpoint DLP from Endpoints.

Core Responsibilities-

1. Proofpoint DLP Agent deployment and customize the building to suit local geo requirements.

2. Troubleshooting and fixing issues related to Proofpoint Agent Deployment.

3. Monitor and manage DLP agents on endpoint devices, ensuring compliance and performance for real-time data protection.

4. Act as a subject matter expert in identifying and preventing data loss, insider threats, and unauthorized sharing of sensitive or confidential information.

5. Deep understanding and proficiency in using the Proofpoint Information Protection platform and its DLP console.

6. Working experience on different OS's like MacOS & Windows versions (Proofpoint Endpoint DLP compatibility).

7. Analyze and triage DLP policy violations and alerts, investigating user activity, data origins, and destinations to reduce false positives and identify threats.
