About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PHP Laravel Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework. You will be a key contributor to the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using the Laravel framework (versions 8+ preferred).
  • Database Management: Write complex SQL queries and manage database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), utilizing Laravel's Eloquent ORM effectively.
  • API Development: Develop and consume robust and well-documented RESTful APIs for internal and external use, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Front-End Integration: Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements using technologies like , React, or Blade templates.
  • Testing and Quality: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and system stability.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and maintain core product software and databases.
  • Collaboration: Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Security: Adhere to and implement web application security best practices (e.g., preventing SQL injection, XSS).

Required Qualifications & Skills (Must-Haves)

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in PHP web development.
  • Framework Mastery: Strong proficiency and proven experience with the Laravel framework (MVC architecture, routing, middleware, queues, etc.).
  • PHP Expertise: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and modern PHP best practices.
  • Database: Expertise in relational databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
  • APIs: Proven experience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs.
  • Version Control: Expert proficiency with Git (e.g., Gitflow, branching, merging).
  • Front-End Familiarity: Working knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
