About the Role

We are looking for a passionate PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable web applications using the Laravel framework, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP 8+).
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms.
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Work with MySQL / PostgreSQL databases, including migrations and optimization.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to build user-facing features.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and MVC architecture.
  • Experience with Blade templating, Eloquent ORM, and Artisan CLI.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end integration.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and AJAX.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization (Sanctum / Passport).
  • Familiarity with unit testing (PHPUnit / Pest) is a plus.
  • Experience in Docker / AWS / Forge / CI/CD pipelines is desirable.

Good to Have

  • Experience with / React /
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API-first design.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
