Job Description – Event Planner
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. The role involves client interactions, vendor coordination, and venue management to ensure smooth execution of events. The ideal candidate should bring innovative ideas, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint to support planning and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction & Coordination
- Regular client calling and relationship management.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Provide updates and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Vendor & Venue Management
- Identify, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors for décor, production, catering, logistics, and other services.
- Liaise with event venues, hotels, banquet managers, and relevant authorities for permissions and compliance.
- Manage contracts, budgets, and deliverables with vendors and partners.
- Event Planning & Execution
- Assist in developing innovative event concepts and themes.
- Create detailed event plans including timelines, budgets, and checklists.
- Coordinate logistics such as transport, manpower, F&B, and technical setups.
- Ensure smooth on-ground execution and resolve any issues in real-time.
- Creativity & Innovation
- Ideate and implement unique concepts for social events (weddings, private parties, cultural events).
- Suggest creative décor, engagement activities, and experience-driven elements.
- Keep updated with the latest event trends and industry innovations.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare event proposals, budgets, and post-event reports.
- Maintain vendor databases, contracts, and agreements.
- Use Excel for budgeting, cost sheets, and tracking.
- Use PowerPoint for client presentations and creative pitch decks.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to propose new ideas.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with leadership qualities for managing on-ground staff.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Mass Communication, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or client servicing preferred.
- Freshers with strong creative and organizational skills may also apply.
Additional Requirement
- Female candidates are preferred for this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10, ₹16,000.00 per month
