Job Description: Store Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Assistant to support the store operations for our Organisation. The role involves assisting in receiving, storing, issuing materials, and maintaining proper documentation under the supervision of the Store Keeper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving and verifying incoming materials.
  • Help in labelling, stacking, and storing materials in an orderly manner.
  • Support the Store Keeper in issuing materials to project/site teams.
  • Record day-to-day transactions and update stock registers or software.
  • Assist in conducting regular stock checks and audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store/warehouse.
  • Report stock shortages or discrepancies to the Store Keeper.
  • Coordinate with site teams for smooth material handling and distribution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass /Diploma/Graduate preferred.
  • Experience: 2 - 4 years in stores/inventory operations, preferably in construction or real estate.
  • Basic knowledge of stock management and record keeping.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel or inventory software (advantage).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of materials.
