Manager - Finance

• The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the AASRIPLs operations, ensuring financial health and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• This role involves managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
• The Finance Manager will work closely with the executive team to make strategic financial decisions and drive profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA is a plus.

• Proven experience of 10-15 years as a Finance Manager or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and taxation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

2. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.

3. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

5. Budgeting and Cost Management:

6. Manage the budgeting process, including annual budget preparation and variance analysis.

7. Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
8. Responsible for developing budgets and financial forecasts based on cost data.

9. Collaborate with other departments to establish achievable financial targets and monitor actual costs against budgeted figures.

10. Costing and Cost Analysis:

a. Analyzing costs and identifying cost drivers to determine the true cost of products or services.

b. Develop effective costing systems, such as standard costing or activity-based costing, to accurately track and allocate costs.

1. Cost Control and Optimization:

a. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving operational efficiency.

b. Analyze cost trends, assess cost variances, and recommend measures to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve process efficiency.

3. Manage working capital and cash flow projections.

4. Accounting and Financial Reporting:

5. Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

10. Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax laws.

13. Maintain insurance coverage to protect the company's assets and liabilities.

14. Treasury and Banking:

15. Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

16. Optimize banking services, investments, and credit facilities.

18. Coordinate external audits and work with auditors.

19. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

20. Financial Leadership:

21. Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and department heads.

22. Present financial performance and recommendations to the board of directors.

23. Pricing and Profitability Analysis:

24. Determining product pricing strategies by considering costs, market conditions, and profitability goals.

25. Analyze profit margins, conduct pricing analyses, and provide insights to support pricing decisions.

28. Contribute to business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment evaluations, and other strategic decisions.
