Technical Lead-Testing Services

Area(s) of responsibility

SDET

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Primary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycle
  2. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites
  3. Write, execute and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systems
  1. Able to mentor other engineers in technical aspect
  2. Experience in communicating with business teams, other development teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
  1. Detect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failure
  2. Identify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
  1. Work with the open source community to scale up test automation practices, and provide robust releases.
  2. Able to work as individual contributor

Required Skills

  1. Excellent understanding of SQL, Stored procedure and database structure
  2. Strong Experience in both Manual and automation testing
  3. Excellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  4. Excellent Design and development skills in either Java or C# is desired
  5. Experience with test design, white and grey box testing and automation required
  6. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  7. Should be able to adapt and work in fast changing and dynamic env
  8. Should be able to work in mixed Waterfall/Scrum environment
  9. Experience and good understanding of API automation, integration and unit testing in all layers. Understanding of REST/SOAP web service automation is desired
  10. Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS), configuration concepts (branching & merging etc.) and continues integration tools
  11. Understanding of Agile development concepts
  12. Strong organizational and team building skills and excellent communication skills
  13. Exp in Power BI testing will be strong plus.

Qualifications

  1. 5 years' experience in software test automation and/or development
  2. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
