Job Title: Commodity Trader – MCX (Quantitative Trading Desk)

Location: Mumbai / Gurugram / Bengaluru

Role Overview:

As a Commodity Trader – MCX, you will be responsible for executing and managing trades across the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), focusing on both discretionary and algorithmic trading strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of commodity derivatives, futures, and market microstructure.
  • Hands-on experience trading on MCX using platforms such as ODIN, NEST, or API-based systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar) for trade analytics and backtesting.
  • Exposure to algorithmic or systematic trading environments preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, numerical, and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Other Details :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commodity trading (MCX) within a trading firm, brokerage, or financial institution.
  • Experience in a quant or systematic trading environment will be a strong plus.
