About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead with strong expertise in ODS (Operational Data Store) and SAP Datasphere. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing BI/data integration projects, and ensuring delivery of scalable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of BI/Data engineers, providing technical guidance and performance oversight.

Design, develop, and optimize solutions using ODS & SAP Datasphere.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models.

Ensure smooth integration, transformation, and flow of data across systems.

Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Drive end-to-end project lifecycle including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and timely solutions.

Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) for task management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Expertise:

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Business Intelligence

Strong hands-on expertise in ODS (Operational Data Store) and SAP Datasphere.

Experience in team leadership/mentoring (minimum 23 years as lead).

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for workflow and release management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to Qlik or other BI tools.

Experience with SAP HANA and SAP BW.

Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
