As Administrative Officer, Pivotal in overseeing and managing the administrative operations . Responsible encompass a wide range of tasks related to administrative support, coordination, and management to ensure the efficient functioning of the company.

Principle Roles & Responsibility:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the administrative office .

  2. Supervise and coordinate daily administrative activities within the office.

  3. Prepare and monitor budgets for administrative expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

  4. Assist in the accounts department and all types of academic and non-academic audits as required by the office.

  5. Coordinate with the HR department to facilitate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for administrative staff.

  6. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives.

  7. Provide administrative support for academic programs, projects, events, and initiatives.

  8. Participate in strategic planning processes for the organization and contribute to goal-setting, performance metrics, and evaluation.

  9. Identify areas for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency gains within campus administrative functions.

  10. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, parents, vendors, and community members.

  11. Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments for campus administrators and staff.

  12. Coordinate transportation services for staff, students, and visitors, including managing vehicle fleets, schedules, and routes.

  13. Monitor transportation and other administrative amenities costs, budgets, and expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities where possible.

  14. Manage maintenance activities for buildings, grounds, and equipment, including repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

  15. Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to address facility-related issues promptly.

  16. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

  17. Manage soft service contracts, including cleaning, housekeeping, pest control, surveillance systems, IT department, and security services for buildings and common areas.

  18. Manager Students Fees collection, Hostel allocation related works.

  19. Manage and coordinate university-related tasks (experience with Dr. MGR University is preferable).

  20. Experience in maintaining rapport with Government Departments like Local Administration, Panchayath, police, Transport, Revenue, EB, Fire Service etc

  21. Expert in General Management and optimisation of operations like Electricity, Water Supply, Security etc.

  22. Analytical for improving the overall operating efficiency of the complete activities in the campus.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: Any degree in a related field such as business administration, management, education administration, or a similar discipline.
