Job Title: Android Developer

Company: AreteMinds Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable Android components and

libraries.

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features.

  1. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general

reliability.

  1. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

  2. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to

maximize development efficiency.

  1. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  2. Collaborate with front-end developers and back-end developers to integrate

Android applications with server-side services.

  1. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Required Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Kotlin – Jet Pack Compose

  2. Experience with Android SDK, various Android phones, tablets, and

emulators.

  1. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end

services.

  1. Knowledge of other web technologies as well as mobile development

frameworks.

  1. Understanding of Android's architecture components, such as ViewModel,

LiveData, and Room.

  1. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  3. Proven experience as an Android Developer.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with performance tuning and optimization.

  2. Familiarity with continuous integration.

  3. Knowledge of Google's Material Design guidelines.

  4. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
