As a Senior Mechanical Designer with 8 to 12 years of experience in the water treatment industry, your role will involve designing, modeling, and detailing steel beams, columns, connections, bracing, trusses, and various structural elements. You will review drawings done by third-party agencies and resolve site/shop related issues. Additionally, you will assist in template development, design guidelines, and standard documents, contributing to a culture of innovation by seeking opportunities for improvement. Regularly updating and maintaining systems will be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting lesson learnt meetings with the team and Discipline Managers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, model, and detail steel beams and columns - Detail various connections such as welded, bolted, riveted, moment connection, shear connection, splice details - Detail bracing, trusses, and combination of sections - Review drawings by third-party drafting agency - Resolve site/shop related issues from structural drawings - Assist in template development and design guidelines - Contribute to a culture of innovation - Update and maintain systems - Conduct lesson learnt meetings with the team and Discipline Managers Qualifications Required: years of experience in structural drafting, 3D modeling, and design for water and/or wastewater treatment plants - Sound knowledge and experience of structural detailing - Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 3D, preferably Advance Steel software - Knowledge of various software for detailing steel structures like Advance steel and Tekla - Familiarity with steel sections of IS, ASTM, and AUS standards - Experience in a design role supporting project delivery - Experience working for an international organization - Experience with raw water treatment, demineralized water treatment, reverse osmosis, recycle, reuse plants Please note: This is a full-time position with a work location in person.,
