Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Estimation/Costing Engineer to join our team at either Nashik (Ambad) or Mumbai location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, quotations, and techno-commercial proposals, aligning client requirements with company offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle tendering and proposal preparation by combining technical understanding with sales insights.
  • Interpret client specifications and requirements accurately to develop customized quotations.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost sheets in line with project needs.
  • Generate techno-commercial bids and participate in pre-bid discussions.
  • Negotiate proposals to ensure alignment with both client expectations and company objectives.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including product knowledge and application guidance.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, ensuring all quotations follow the First Time Right approach.
  • Support the estimation manager in analyzing costs, pricing, and sales trends.
  • Coordinate with SCM and Project teams for timely documentation and compliance based on approved quotations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of LV panel design, APFC/Hybrid panels.
  • Understanding of LV switchgear components, Selection of switchgears, relay, meters, VFDs, busbar calculations, and panel accessories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and process orientation.
