Reports To: SEO Manager/Head of Digital Marketing

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven SEO Specialist with at least 2 years of experience to join our digital marketing team. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for driving organic growth, improving search engine rankings, and ensuring optimal visibility across search engines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SEO tools, on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, and technical SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Page SEO:

Optimize website content (including landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions) to improve rankings and engagement.
- Keyword Research:

Perform in-depth keyword research to identify valuable opportunities and optimize content for targeted search terms.
- Content Strategy:

Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content strategies that drive organic traffic and enhance user experience.
- Link Building:

Implement effective link-building strategies, including outreach, guest blogging, and partnerships.
- Technical SEO:

Conduct audits to identify and fix technical issues such as page load speed, broken links, and crawl errors that could impact search rankings.
- Analytics & Reporting:

Use SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Stay Current:

Keep up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure the company's SEO strategy remains competitive and effective.
- Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments (content, development, marketing) to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital efforts.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably with a digital marketing agency or eCommerce business.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
  • Proven experience with on-page SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building techniques.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to improve SEO performance.
