The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

Child Care & Development

· Monitor daily routines, behaviour, and health/hygiene conditions

· Regular meetings/ sessions to address issues through team leaders and with each girl

Case Management & Documentation

· Maintain individual case files and follow Child Welfare Committee orders

· Implement Individual Care Plans per Juvenile Justice Act 2015

· Handle POCSO case follow-ups and court visits

Education & Family Liaison

· Conduct school/college visits and maintain education records

· Perform home visits and social investigations

· Connect and coordinate with families as needed

Operations & Administration

· Support Head of Care in daily operations & organize daily/weekly/monthly activities and maintain records

· Monitor facility cleanliness

· Support new admissions and integration

Any other important work assigned by Baale Mane as and when required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Personal Requirements:

· Residential: Able to live at the home full-time (planned breaks supported and encouraged)

· Education: B.SW or M.SW graduate

· Languages: Fluent in Kannada and English

· Commitment: Prioritize girls' interests and serve as a positive role model

· Experience: Professional care background preferred, though equivalent skills from other contexts will be considered

Experience & Skills:

· Care Background: Experience with girls/children in domestic or institutional settings

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with good numeracy

· IT: Good computer skills

· Initiative: Ability to work independently and proactively

· Confidentiality: Sensitivity in handling confidential information

At Baale Mane, we place a strong focus on a sustainable model using a collaborative approach, prioritising the girls in everything we do, and would expect a caregiver to follow this approach. (Salary is negotiable & based on experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹17,000.00 per month
