Role & responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the hourly Quality production target is achieved by batch & by operator. check the same by entering the production on hr x hr board on hourly basis.

  2. New operator quality requirements training & hourly quality check should be done.

  3. Line Balancing based on the work content

  4. Check if machine autonomous is entered daily / properly.

  5. Check if mechanic has repaired machine correctly & updatation of down time register/sheet.

  6. Doing a quality check the next hour for machines subjected for repair.

  7. Ensure that rework % and re-cutting done on immediate on the same hour.

  8. Machine #, bobbin case # are same. First hour check to ensure that the machine setting is intact as per production requirements.

  9. Ensure that the needle breakages do not exceed target.

  10. Ensure that spi mock, certified operation mocks are prominently displayed in all the critical operations.

  11. The size matrix of labels should be displayed on the operator table.

  12. Ensure that spare bobbins, cones are available in all machines to avoid delays during production.

  13. Education and checking of all operators for self-trimming / checking / signing and cleanliness of batch.

  14. Ensure that all the rework is given to the same operator and done the same day to avoid pile up of rework pieces.

  15. Cutting In-charge shall check fast react plan & start cutting with consultation with FM. Style wise / Po wise will be worked out based on kan ban / sewing request.

  16. Shall ensure that lay sheet is generated in the pro-cut & fabric swatch is attached & issued to spreader.

  17. Before cutting the finished lay, the lay length & fabric quality should be checked against the requirement. 4. Numbering places should be given to all cut parts.

  18. On completion of cutting QC to ensure Top & bottom panels of cut parts are checked against patterns for sizing /notches & are bundled for further process

  19. Panel inspection shall be carried out for main parts & details recorded in cutting section Quality inspection report.

  20. Ensure that all parties: Body / linining / Trims are cut in ratio to ensure free flow of production.
