Position:
Manager – Tool Room

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 12–15 years
in Tool Room operations within a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in a managerial role

Salary:
₹6 LPA – ₹9 LPA
(based on experience)


Key Responsibilities:


•
Operations Management:
Oversee daily Tool Room operations ensuring timely production, maintenance, and repair of all tooling.


•
Staff Supervision:
Lead, train, and evaluate a team of toolmakers and technicians, fostering a safe and productive work culture.


•
Inventory & Asset Management:
Manage tool and raw material inventory, maintain accurate records, and conduct regular audits.


•
Quality & Safety:
Ensure precision and compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.


•
Collaboration:
Work with design and engineering teams to support new product development and improve tooling efficiency.


•
Maintenance & Planning:
Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with production teams.


•
Budget & Procurement:
Manage the Tool Room budget, oversee procurement, and drive process improvements.


Candidate Profile:


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering


•
Relevant industry experience
in manufacturing (preferably consumer goods or appliance sector)


• Strong technical expertise in tool design, materials, and manufacturing processes


• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership skills


• Excellent communication and project management abilities
