Intern – QA EngineerCompany Overview

Our modular, API-first suite includes solutions like Order Management, Product Information Management, Subscriptions, Loyalty, and Executive Dashboards.

Job Overview

We are looking for a
QA Intern
who is passionate about software quality and eager to build a strong foundation in manual testing. As part of our QA team, you will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure the stability and quality of our applications. You will gain hands-on experience in test planning, execution, bug tracking, and agile processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and assist in creating structured test cases and scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Execute test cases and document results clearly.
  • Identify and report bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Support functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing activities.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies alongside the QA team.
  • Collaborate with developers to help reproduce and verify issues.
  • Assist in UAT activities and release support.
  • Maintain documentation for test cases and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
  • Ability to create simple test cases and reports.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking or test management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Basic knowledge of testing methodologies and testing types.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman (added advantage).
  • Eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation concepts or tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or backend systems.
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) or CI/CD concepts (e.g., Jenkins).
