Job Summary: The Assistant Quality incharge will support the in overseeing the quality control processes within our factory. This role involves ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality standards, coordinating with production teams, and assisting in managing the quality control team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Supervisor in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on cookware and home appliances to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collect and analyze quality data, prepare reports, and provide feedback to the production team.
- Support the investigation of quality issues and customer complaints, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor quality control staff on best practices, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with production managers and engineers to develop and enhance quality control measures.
- Ensure all quality control equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Maintain up-to-date records of quality control activities, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external quality audits.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the factory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in quality management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the manufacturing of cookware or home appliances.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily in a factory environment with exposure to manufacturing processes.
- May require standing for extended periods and performing manual inspections.
- Some lifting and moving of products may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
