Quality Controller - Bakery Plant Job Summary The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all bakery products meet company quality standards food safety regulations and customer requirements This role involves monitoring raw materials production processes finished products hygiene practices and documentation to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards Key Responsibilities Inspect and test raw materials flour yeast sugar fats additives for quality and compliance with specifications Monitor bakery production processes mixing fermentation baking cooling slicing packing to ensure quality standards are met Conduct in-process and final product quality checks weight size texture taste appearance moisture shelf life Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP GMP GHP ISO 22000 or FSSAI as applicable Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices of production staff and equipment Verify proper cleaning and sanitation CIP COP of machinery and work areas Identify quality issues deviations and non-conformities report and assist in corrective and preventive actions CAPA Maintain accurate quality records inspection reports and test results Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory authorities and customers Ensure proper labeling packaging and coding of finished products Train production staff on quality hygiene and food safety practices Coordinate with production maintenance and warehouse teams to resolve quality-related issues Quality Control Activities Product sampling and sensory evaluation Weight and dimension checks Shelf-life and storage condition monitoring Metal detector and foreign body control verification Allergen control and cross-contamination prevention Required Skills Qualifications Diploma Bachelor s degree in Food Technology Food Science Microbiology or related field 1-3 years of experience in a bakery or food manufacturing plant preferred Knowledge of bakery ingredients and processes Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems Good documentation and reporting skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work in shifts and on the production floor Working Conditions Factory production floor environment Exposure to heat from ovens and bakery equipment Standing for long hours Reporting To Quality Assurance Manager Production Manager Job Type Full-time Pay 8 428 24 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
