Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru South. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes. Day-to-day tasks include performing data analysis, building scalable data architectures, ensuring data quality and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet data requirements. The role also involves deploying machine learning models and troubleshooting data-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Scala
  • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and perform data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and model deployment practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; master's degree is a plus
  • Proven track record of working in agile environments and cross-functional teams
