About Aastha Parivaar:

Aastha Parivaar is a community-led federation established to empower and uplift the sex worker community in Mumbai and Thane. Our organization is dedicated to addressing critical issues faced by sex workers and their children through comprehensive advocacy and support programs.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Program Manager
to lead our new program aimed at improving the safety and well-being of women in sex work. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of program focused on violence prevention, crisis support, and empowerment for our key populations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the Community Resource Centre operations, ensuring the delivery of healthcare, psychosocial services, legal guidance, and crisis intervention for women in sex work.

· Develop and implement training programs on key health and social issues, including mental health, reproductive health, and substance use.

· Facilitate peer-led support groups and identify and train para-legal community volunteers to support survivors effectively.

· Collaborate with government officials and police departments to conduct sensitization sessions that improve support and response to violence.

· Ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of program outcomes and impact.

· Foster partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance the program's reach and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in health, social justice, or community development sectors.

· Strong understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations, especially sex workers.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

· Proficiency in using data for decision-making and reporting purposes.

Salary – Rs. 50,000/- per month
