Job Purpose Statement: The Brand & Product Communication Lead is responsible for shaping and maintaining Stars brand identity across all consumer touchpoints. This role owns the brand book, positioning, and communication strategy, ensuring consistency and excellence across in-store, ecommerce, loyalty platforms, and all marketing assets including digital, social, outdoor, and BTL. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a collaborative mindset, experienced in managing cross-functional teams and external agencies within the retail or ecommerce space.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas:

Brand Ownership:

  • Custodian of Star s brand book, tone of voice, and visual identity across all platforms.

Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and implement integrated communication plans for product and brand campaigns across store, ecommerce, and loyalty apps.

Marketing Asset Development:

  • Lead creation and adaptation of marketing assets across digital, social media, outdoor, print, and BTL channels.
  • Touchpoint Consistency:
  • Ensure brand consistency across all consumer-facing touchpoints including signage, packaging, digital interfaces, and in-store communication.

Agency Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative, media, and digital agencies to brief, review, and optimize campaign outputs.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Collaborate with category, operations, and ecommerce teams to align communication with business priorities and customer experience.

Execution Excellence:

  • Drive high-quality execution of campaigns and communication rollouts, with a strong focus on timelines and impact.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor effectiveness of communication across channels and recommend optimizations based on insights and feedback.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 6–10 years of experience in brand communication, preferably in retail or ecommerce
  • Proven track record of managing brand identity and multi-channel communication
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and retail marketing dynamics
  • Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams
