We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and manufacturable 2D and 3D designs based on project specifications, with a strong focus on sheet metal fabrication, stainless steel structures, and industrial kitchen systems. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and be proficient in Siemens NX CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop commercial kitchen equipment as per project requirements and industry standards.

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for parts, assemblies, and layouts using Siemens NX - Unigraphics NX.

Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related approval documents.

Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.

Collaborate with project teams, fabrication units, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and support manufacturing.

Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and fabrication techniques in design work.

Revise and update designs based on feedback from production and project teams.

Maintain organized records of design files, BOMs, and revisions.

Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for hygiene, safety, and functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1–4 years of experience in design, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment or sheet metal fabrication.

Proficiency in Siemens NX - Unigraphics NX, including 3D modeling, assembly modeling, and drafting.Strong knowledge of 2D/3D CAD design, BOM preparation, and document control.

Good understanding of stainless steel structures, fabrication processes, and industrial design standards.Familiarity with approval documentation, including technical drawings, GA drawings, and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Good communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in commercial kitchen equipment design or food service equipment.

Exposure to international design standards and fabrication practices.

Knowledge of other CAD platforms is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
