Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise content management solutions integrated with key business systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors,Powerdocs, Salesforce, or Microsoft 365. Knowledge of Sinequa (or similar search engines). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in OpenText technologies and play a pivotal role in shaping and governing archiving, content services architecture and search engine, across the organization with a .This position requires a solid understanding of ECM technologies and dependencies, as well as excellent management skills and ability to coordinate between business needs and technical teams. Collaborating with the Service Owner, this person will drive operational excellence and evolve the services to meet the organization´s growing and changing needs, playing an important part in a major digital transformation of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the solution architecture and technical design for OpenText xECM and Sinequa Search Engine implementations and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure content management solutions.
• Design and oversee integration with enterprise applications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Microsoft 365).
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust ECM solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, and support.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and retention policies across the content lifecycle.
• Manage the lifecycle of licenses and user access with a focus on optimization, compliance.
• Participate in solution reviews and performance tuning, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Manage migration and transformation of legacy content into OpenText repositories using tools like OTIC, Magellan, or 3rd-party platforms.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, solution blueprints, and technical design artifacts.
• Stay current with industry trends and evolving OpenText and search engine capabilities, proposing improvements and innovations.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives (e.g., onboarding new services, integrating new tools) through deep functional and technical knowledge.
• Use data and insights to influence service improvements and prioritize enhancements
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of the services, including architecture diagrams, integration logic, and service operations.
• Deliver targeted training and upskilling sessions to improve adoption and effective use of the tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) solutions.
• Proven expertise in OpenText Content Server, Archive Center, xECM for SAP, SuccessFactors,Powerdocs, Salesforce integrations.
• Strong experience in designing enterprise-wide ECM strategies aligned with IT and business goals.
• Familiarity with content migration tools, metadata modeling, and information governance.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with BPM tools (Process Suite) is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of IT architecture standards, cloud deployments, and security protocols.
• Deep knowledge on search engine architecture, modules, connectors, and APIs.Indexing, querying, and relevance tuning.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience with enterprise application integrations (e.g., SAP, CRM platforms).
• Experience in designing and implementing end to end ECM solutions and building business applications.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with change management processes, continuous improvement, and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL v4).
• Certifications such as ITIL and others related to service delivery are a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Certified Expert – xECM).
• Mastering search engine skills
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, energy).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
