Role & responsibilities -

  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap studies using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
  • Execute on-page optimization strategies metadata, headings, internal linking, schema, and page speed improvements.
  • Develop and manage off-page SEO activities backlink outreach, guest posting, citations, and brand mentions.
  • Implement AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies to enhance visibility in AI Overviews and featured snippets.
  • Monitor website performance, analyze analytics data, and prepare actionable SEO performance reports.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into blogs, landing pages, and case studies.
  • Identify and fix technical SEO issues crawl errors, sitemap optimization, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, etc.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and apply the latest SEO trends to improve site performance.

Support the SEO Head in planning and executing SEO strategies for B2B service domains like SaaS, eCommerce, and enterprise design projects.

Preferred candidate profile -

  • Experience: 2-3 years in SEO, preferably in an agency or B2B digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • Proficiency in on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and AEO optimization.
  • Logical, analytical, and data-driven mindset - able to draw insights and recommend strategies.
  • Good understanding of content SEO and collaboration with design/content teams.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX, conversion optimization, or B2B buyer journeys is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for learning and keeping up with SEO trends and AI-driven search updates.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with structured data, schema markup, or content optimization for AI Overviews.
  • Exposure to international SEO or USA-based keyword targeting.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress CMS.
  • Experience handling SEO for SaaS, B2B or Ecommerce websites.
