Role & responsibilities

To coordinate design activities, review technical submissions, and provide engineering input during the bid stage to ensure technically sound and cost-effective bridge design proposals.

Design Coordination:

  1. Coordinate and manage bridge design activities during pre-bid and project execution stages.

  2. Lead the preparation and review of preliminary and detailed bridge design concepts, drawings, and technical documentation for tenders.

  3. Work closely with bid teams to develop technical proposals, design methodologies, and cost-effective design alternatives.

  4. Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements to identify design scope, risks, and opportunities.

  5. Interface with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure design compliance with codes and project requirements.

  6. Manage coordination between structural, geotechnical, and construction teams for design optimization.

  7. Support value engineering initiatives and innovation in bridge design and construction methods.

Maintain design documentation, ensure quality standards, and assist in project handover to execution teams.

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.Tech. in Civil with 3 - 5 years of experience in bridge design especially in pre-bid design engineering for major infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with construction methods (cast-in-situ, precast, segmental, cable-stayed, steel bridges, etc.) is an advantage.
