Job Description
Purpose
This role focuses on improving or developing new products, components, equipment, systems or processes and uses the expertise and an analytical approach to provide daily support to the operations teams.

Key Missions

  • Conducts research and design methodologies according to established scientific and engineering standards and state of the art technologies
  • Delivers new product development respecting technical, functional, cost, and timing targets
  • Manages product regulatory approval process (in some organizations)
  • Assists with formulating business plans and budgets for product development
  • Analyzes quality or safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Leads as the technical reference to ensure the respect of the company standards
  • Works on routine tasks, problems faced are not typically difficult or complex
  • Explains facts, policies, and practices related to the job area
  • Works under close supervision
