Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of syndicated loan transactions across corporate, acquisition, and structured finance.
  • Develop tailored financing solutions and advise clients on optimal capital structures, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, and bridge financing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams; credit, legal, operations; and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely closing of deals.
  • Prepare pitch materials, term sheets, and financial models to support client engagement and deal origination.
  • Conduct market sounding and investor outreach to assess appetite and refine syndication strategy.
  • Negotiate pricing, covenants, and documentation terms with clients and syndicate participants.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and regulatory developments to inform structuring decisions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance using systems like Loan IQ.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in loan syndication, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a strong execution track record in India.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian debt market, investor landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in credit analysis, financial modelling, and loan documentation.
  • Familiarity with syndicated loan platforms such as Loan IQ and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
