Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Science Content (Climate Change Education)

Location: Vadodara (Remote – Work from Home)

Job Description:

We are looking for passionate science graduates to join our team as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for an exciting educational project. The focus of this project is to develop engaging, accurate, and student-friendly content to educate high school students about climate change and how it impacts people's lives, societies, and the environment.

As an SME, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing high-quality educational materials on a variety of climate change–related topics. You will help us make complex scientific concepts easy to understand, inspiring students to think critically and take action for a sustainable future.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and review educational content on climate change and related scientific topics for high school learners.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives and student comprehension levels.
  • Break down complex scientific ideas into simple, engaging explanations with real-world examples.
  • Collaborate with educators, editors, and curriculum designers to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Provide creative input on visuals, infographics, and interactive elements to enhance student engagement.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on written material to ensure adherence to academic and editorial standards.
  • Meet deadlines and contribute to achieving project milestones with precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Science (Environmental Science, Climate Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or related disciplines).
  • Strong academic background and interest in climate change, sustainability, and environmental issues.
  • Previous experience in educational content writing, teaching, or editing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Comfortable using digital tools for content creation, review, and collaboration.
