Hyderabad, IndienFestanstellungDigitalisierungsenior-principal-developer-iotRole overview:We are looking for a skilled Senior IoT Developer/Principial IoT Developer with a minimum of 7 years of IoT developer experience, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience designing and architecting IoT Solutions to join our dynamic team.You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable IoT applications and services that operate seamlessly across edge devices and Azure cloud infrastructure.You have a strong background in IoT development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating innovative and efficient IoT solutions.You will play a key role in mentoring team members and contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking development environment.Key responsibilities:IoT Solution Development: Design, develop, and maintain IoT applications and systems to collect, process, and analyze data from connected MULTIVAC lines.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor and troubleshoot IoT solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for IoT projects, including code, configurations, and system architecture.Participate in code review and unit testing of developed solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams spread across the globe.Stay updated with the latest IoT trends and technologies.Act as a mentor for team members, providing guidance, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.Required Skills & Qualifications:Mandatory Technical Attributes:Engineering bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in implementation, with a minimum of 3 years focused on designing IoT and edge computing solutions.Strong programming skills in Python.Proficiency with cloud and edge architectures, particularly with AzureExperience with IoT communication protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT, AMQP, OPC-UA).Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Docker.Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Desirable:Programming skills in TypeScript and familiarity with the framework (Nice to have).Experience in operating scaled (> 100 devices) end-to-end IoT SolutionsExperience in developing software for low resource devices (e.g. RaspberryPi class)Professional Attributes :Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
