About Us: We are a dynamic and innovative company focused on enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer II to join our Product Engineering team and support the development of our custom real-time rules evaluation system.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the event engine team in backend development associated with the Rules Engine.
  • Develop and maintain a custom real-time rules evaluation system using C# microservices and T-SQL in an Agile/DevOps environment.
  • Collaborate with a senior software engineer on scalable, high transaction, event-driven data processing systems.
  • Work with direction and oversight to achieve sprint commitments and help the team meet objectives.

Required Skills:

  • 4-6 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in Azure/MS-SQL and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong English language skills to understand U.S. medical billing terminology and apply it to development.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with medical billing (HL7 or X12).
  • Knowledge of C# / .NET.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with Agentic AI (Azure AI Foundry).

Core Competencies:

  • Database engineering and relational database design skills.
  • Test-driven development.
