Finance Accountant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage all Bank and cash accounts within the system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash management, account reconciliations, and Cash Clearing processes. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our cash transactions and financial reporting.

Job Description:

Manage and reconcile all cash accounts daily, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Able to generate the invoices in the system as per the client requirements. Perform cash clearing activities including monitoring and clearing open items.

Booking the Vendor and Intercompany invoices in the system on time by understanding the nature of expenses and the accounting purpose.

Maintain the Bank reconciliation statement periodically. Maintain and update cash-related general ledger accounts Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to cash accounts.¢ Collaborate with onshore Finance teams to ensure proper cash application and reporting.¢ Investigate and resolve cash-related issues in a timely manner.¢ Prepare detailed cash reconciliations and related reports for management review.¢ Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and explanations regarding cash transactions.¢ Continuously improve and streamline cash management processes and system workflows.¢ Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP as applicable).

  • Sending weekly and monthly AR reports
  • Offset Checking for Intercompany
  • Referral Fee Checking

Qualifications:

¢ Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

¢ 3 to 5 years years of accounting experience with a strong focus on AR, AP and Bank Reconciliation.

¢ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

¢ Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

¢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
