We are looking for a Security Operations & Patching Engineer who will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, ensuring compliance, and implementing secure IT practices across our infrastructure. One who is passionate and enjoys turning policies into action and making a real impact on our organizations security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, review, and enforcement of IT security processes, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Perform regular physical security audits/penetration testing.
  • Maintain documentation of patching activities, exceptions, and audit records.
  • Coordinate and implement system patching and updates across servers, workstations, and endpoints.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using available in-house methods and assist in developing remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with IT and Infrastructure teams to ensure timely patching and configuration hardening.
  • Participate in security monitoring, incident response coordination, and risk mitigation exercises.
  • Contribute to awareness and training initiatives to promote security best practices across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • 0–3 years of experience in IT security operations, vulnerability management, or system administration.
  • Familiarity with IT processes, security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), and compliance documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation for patch deployment will be a plus.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
