**Job Title:** EHS Officer – Non-Ferrous Metal Greenfield Project

**Qualification & Experience:**

* NEBOSH / Industrial Safety / Fire Safety Certification (mandatory)

* 1–2 years of experience in process or manufacturing industry

**Job Overview:**

We are looking for a proactive and safety-conscious **EHS Officer** to oversee all Environmental, Health & Safety functions at our new non-ferrous metal greenfield project site near Bhilad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all EHS regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and support smooth operational readiness of the plant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions.

* Implement and monitor work permit and risk assessment systems.

* Ensure strict compliance with PPE usage and safety protocols across all operations.

* Maintain all safety documentation — inspection records, incident and accident reports, investigation and audit reports, contractor safety compliance, etc.

* Monitor lifting equipment, material handling systems, and mobile equipment for safe operations.

* Prepare and maintain documentation for ISO 45001 and OSHA certifications.

* Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBTs), safety meetings, and regular training for employees and contractors.

* Organize emergency mock drills, evaluate preparedness, and ensure readiness of firefighting equipment, alarms, exits, and first aid systems.

* Coordinate daily with all departments to drive EHS initiatives and compliance.

* Manage and maintain safety posters, signage, and MSDS guidelines across the facility.

* Ensure proper safety measures for hazardous waste, fuel, explosive, and cryogenic storage areas.

* Perform root cause analysis (ICAM) of incidents/accidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

* Support internal and external safety audits and compliance reviews.

**Desired Candidate Profile:**

* Fluent in **Hindi, Gujarati, and English**.

* Excellent communication and public-speaking skills.

* Energetic, confident, and eager to learn.

* Proficient in **MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint**.
