Job Brief:

We're looking for a Quality Control Executive to oversee the inspection of inbound materials, customer returns, and production processes to ensure they meet defined quality standards. The ideal candidate will also be capable of analyzing defects, identifying root causes, and recommending practical solutions to prevent recurring issues.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Define material group-wise QC parameters for all product categories.
  • Perform daily routine cleaning, oiling, and greasing to keep machines in optimal working condition.
  • Handle breakdown and repair maintenance. Develop, schedule, and implement preventive maintenance plans.
  • Conduct machine-wise VED (Vital, Essential, Desirable) spare parts analysis and maintain inventory accordingly.
  • Maintain machine history cards and AMC contracts/service records.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance-related MIS reports. Ensure 100% inspection of all incoming materials and customer-returned products as per QC checklist.
  • Maintain material group-wise inspection history sheets and test logs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for rejection handling, feedback sharing, and corrective action. Conduct vendor site inspections to evaluate the technical capabilities of new suppliers. Provide technical support to the sales team regarding product specifications, usage, and functionality.
  • Create SOPs and operation manuals for toner and ink filling, calibration, and machine settings.
  • Train operators on best practices and optimal use of production machinery.
  • Analyze production process flow, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements for resource optimization.
  • Address customer complaints and queries related to product usage or defects and propose solutions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and take initiative to resolve technical issues independently.
  • Be part of the vendor negotiation team, offering technical insights on product quality and feasibility

Requirements & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical/ Production /Instrumental Previous work experience as a Production & Maintance engineer or similar role in digital printing or similar industry
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Team spirit & Team management Skills
  • Good analytical skills
