Head of Digital Marketing

The Head of Digital Marketing leads the organisation's digital strategy, brand visibility, online customer engagement, and performance marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving growth through digital channels, managing a high-performing marketing team, and ensuring alignment between digital activities and overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities1. Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute an integrated digital marketing strategy across all online channels.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance brand presence and customer experience.
- Set KPIs, track performance, and optimise campaigns for ROI.
2. Brand & Content Management
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Manage content marketing strategies including blogs, videos, email campaigns, and social media.
- Ensure content aligns with customer personas and business objectives.
3. Performance Marketing
- Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic).
- Analyse audience behaviour, conversion funnels, and attribution models.
- Implement data-driven strategies to increase traffic, leads, and conversions.
4. SEO, Analytics & Data Insights
- Oversee SEO/SEM initiatives to boost search visibility.
- Lead analytics function—Google Analytics, dashboards, reporting.
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership using digital data.
5. Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop the digital marketing team.
- Collaborate with product, sales, creative, and tech teams to support business growth.
- Manage agency relationships and digital vendor contracts.
6. Innovation & Digital Trends
- Stay updated on emerging digital technologies, AI tools, and marketing automation.
- Pilot new digital solutions to enhance customer journeys and brand engagement.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics, and SEO/SEM
- Expertise in performance marketing and campaign optimisation
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, etc.)
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 7–12+ years of digital marketing experience
- Proven track record in leading digital teams and driving online growth
- Certifications in digital marketing (Google, Meta, HubSpot) are an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
