Global Specialist Engineer, Parts Kits Strategy

Global strategic role develops Parts Kits for Envelope portfolio of products, actively engage in agile value stream, take a lead of aftermarket business enquiries, emphasize the importance of proactive maintenance and sustainability.

The position is in India, with global travel based on business needs.

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

Key Accountabilities

Agile offering stream (60%)

  • Lead Value Stream offering deliverables for Booster & Modular Performance System
  • Create Parts Kits Item master, interchangeability engineering specification chart, MFG set up
  • Align release sprints as per product development road map and launch marcom readiness
  • Collaborate between offerings stream to sync aftermarket spare parts search HUB, sales and ERP tools
  • Prepare new releases and webinar training content
  • Maintain various partner channels workflows

Agile service community (40%)

  • Continuously learn & improve spare parts strategy based on product lifecycle performance management, energy savings potential & sustainability mandate
  • Resolve technical enquiries from Customer support and Field services within 24 hours turn around
  • Follow clean sales order process to complete right-first time field maintenance service jobs
  • Enable partners and service organizations to achieve the lowest down time of installed products

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

Education and Experience

  • University degree in Mechanical/EE/E&C engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in commercial building HVAC industry applications and system design
  • Minimum 5 years in MRP/ERP, CADD, assembly BOM
  • Minimum 2 years in product engineering
  • Minimum 2 years in product lifecycle management & service technologies
  • Strong knowledge of software platform CAD/ERP/MS Tools

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on PLM, LN 10.7, ADEPT, Parts Kits Search, Catalogue, Agile platform.
  • Able to resolve open part numbering enquiries and consolidate loose items into Parts Kits.
  • Parts design change or revision relationships with BOM/Routing.
  • LN sites, sales office item set-up issues resolution
  • Excel Macros Programming is desired

Soft Skills

  • Follow item creation workflow for Part master data create/modify/obsolete and recommend replaced Item part numbers
  • Adapts behavior and communication style to the needs of the audience
  • Bilingualism is an advantage English & any other French/German/Portuguese
  • Proven strategic and analytic
